Karla K. Berns, 72, of Dubuque died Sunday, May 26, 2013. Funeral services were held Friday, May 31 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Dubuque. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a Karla K. Berns memorial fund has been established.

Dora J. Bollman, 95, of Waukon died Monday, May 27, 2013 at Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 1 at Forest Mills United Methodist Church in rural Postville, with Rev. Richard Iles officiating. Burial was at Smithfield Cemetery, rural Monona.

Bonita (Clancy) McKee, age 77, of Lansing passed away Monday, May 27 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI. A family gravesite service is planned for later this summer.

Larry “Butch” F. Schott, 63, of Columbus, GA, formerly of Waukon, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 8 at 12 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, with Fr. Joseph Schneider  officiating. Burial with military graveside rites will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Larry “Butch” F. Schott, 63, of Columbus, GA, formerly of Waukon, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 8 at 12 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, with Fr. Joseph Schneider  officiating. Burial with military graveside rites will be at Mt. Alta Hager, 95, of Waukon died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 28 at Zalmona Presbyterian Church in rural Waukon, with Pastor Tom Buresh officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mary “Susie” E. Cowell, 73, of Waukon, formerly of Billings, MT, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon.

Paul N. Marti, age 66, of Decorah died Thursday, May 23, 2013, surrounded by his family, after a year-long battle with cancer. There will be a visitation from 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 at Schluter Balik Funeral Home in Decorah. There will not be any other formal service.

MaryAnn Charlene Dundee, 70, of Waukon died Friday, May 17, 2013 at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon. Funeral Services were held Thursday, May 23 at First Baptist Church in Waukon. Burial was at Postville Cemetery, Postville.
She was born December 23, 1942 to Orville and Emily (Schultz) Nuehring in Monona. She was baptized and confirmed at the Methodist Church in Monona. MaryAnn attended Luana Country Schools.

Robert R. Yohe, Jr., 62, of rural Caledonia and Houston, MN died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his home. Memorial services were held Friday, May 24 at Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Home in Caledonia, MN, with Pastor Larry Mahlum officiating. Burial with military honors was in Evergreen Cemetery.
