Leo and Mary Lou Garin of Lansing will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary February 15. Leo Garin and Mary Lou Troendle were married February 15, 1950 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lansing by Msgr. Henry Sharphoff.
The couple has six children, including Bob (Lori) Garin, Dick (Shally) Garin, Ray (Aggie) Garin, Dennis (Lois) Garin, Janelle (Dave) Kazimour and U.S. Air Force Chief Cheryl Garin. They also have 11 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Brittney and Seth Clarke of North Liberty announce the birth of their daughter, Ida Patricia Clarke, December 14, 2014 in Cedar Rapids. She weighed 7 lbs., 10 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth.

Brian and Kayla Miller of Postville announce the birth of their son, David Huxley Miller, January 23, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 6 lbs., 9 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a sister, Harlie Kay (10).
