Marguerite L. Donahue, 70, of Lake Geneva, WI died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be said Friday, April 5 at 11 a.m. at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, WI, with Father Angel Anaya officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4 from 4-7 p.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home, 800 Park Dr.,  Lake Geneva, WI.

Cletus J. McKee, 72, of Harpers Ferry, formerly of Lansing, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. A celebration of life service was held Thursday, March 28 at the United Methodist Church in Lansing. The Rev. Kevin Smith officiated.
Cletus James McKee was born in May’s Prairie in rural Lansing, the son of Ernest and Ada McKee. He was baptized and confirmed at the Presbyterian Church in Lansing. Cletus attended school at Lansing, where he graduated from high school and married Joan Sess in 1959.

Kathryn L. Shattuck, 85, of Marion, formerly of Waukon, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Mercy Hospice House in Hiawatha. A graveside service at Oakland Cemetery in Waukon will be held at a later date. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon is assisting the family with arrangements.

Clay M. Kramer, 31, of Cedar Rapids and formerly of Waukon, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 15, 2013 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a stroke. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 21 at 11 a.m. at Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Church with Pastor Ken Kimball officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, both in rural Waukon.

Arthur Lloyd Swenson, 80, of Chatfield, MN passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield, MN, where he had resided for five and a half years. He died of complications of Lewey Body Dementia and other medical issues.

Baldemar “Junior” Villarreal, 38, of Waukon died Monday, March 11, 2013 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Memorial services were held Saturday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, with Fr. Joseph Schneider officiating.
Baldemar Villarreal was born September 28, 1974 in Houston, TX, the son of Baldemar and Hermelinda (Rodrigues) Villarreal. He graduated from Clewiston High School in Clewiston, FL.

Gertrude “Gert” M. Somermeyer, 89, of New Albin died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. Memorial services were held Friday, March 15 at St. Peter’s Christian Community Church in New Albin with Pastor Kent Meyer officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date. Martin Funeral Home of Waukon assisted the family with arrangements.

Justina  Ann Shirley, 35, of Lansing passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 in Lansing. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Justina Ann, the daughter of Stephen and Colleen (Skow) Shirley, was born March 26, 1977 in Libertyville, IL. She attended Round Lake High in Round Lake Beach, IL.
Justina is survived by her twin children, John and Ciara Anderson; and her nieces and nephews, Nancy,  Nicholas and Natalie Rangel. Justina was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Colleen; her twin sister, Jessica Shirley; one brother, Jace Shirley; and her grandparents.

Mary Ronnfeldt, 78, of Cascade, formerly of Hartley, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Shady Rest Care Center in Cascade after living many years with Alzheimer’s Disease. Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, March 16 at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hartley, with Fr. Tim Hogan officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Hartley.

Denise Eileen Jostand, 62, of Decorah, formerly of Lansing, died Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. A Celebration of Life Mass was held Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Parish in Lansing, with Rev. John Moser as the Celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date at Gethsemane Cemetery, Lansing.
