Matt Beisker and Marcia Wilkins of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Madilyn Ann Marie Beisker, born June 28, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 4 ozs. and measured 21-3/4 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins brothers, Dylan Christensen (11) and Westin Beisker (7).

Grandparents are John Beisker of Waukon, Monica (Kenny) McGeough of Waterville and Loren Wilkins of Decorah.
 

Travis and Megan Leas of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Colten Lee Leas, born June 20, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 10 lbs. 5 ozs. and measured 22 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins brothers, Kaden Burckart (12) and Wyatt Leas (7).

Grandparents are Ron and Becky Leas of Letts and Sharon Ingles of Monona. Great-grandparents are Judy and Nanferd Felke of Waukon and Imojean Ingles of Monona.
 

John and Sheryl (Opfer) Prestemon will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married June 27, 1959 at Zalmona Presbyterian Church in rural Waukon.

They have three children, Becky (Merlin) Gesing of Waukon, Brad (Kari) Prestemon of Northfield, MN and Shari Prestemon of Minneapolis, MN.

Bill and Sheila (McDermott) Clair of Waukon will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 28, 1969 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton. They have two children, Christopher (Tracy) Clair and Jeremy Clair, and one grandchild, Will Clair.

Patrick and Shari Curran of Lansing will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children Saturday, July 6 at TJ Hunter’s Banquet Center in Lansing from 5-9 p.m. Family, friends and neighbors are invited to attend. No gifts requested.

Patrick Curran and Mary Sharon (Shari) Wagner were married December 28, 1968 at Immaculate Conception Church in Wexford. Due to a snow storm leaving over a foot of snow the night before, many friends, relatives and neighbors were not able to attend the wedding. To avoid the possibility of another snow storm, they have decided to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in July.

Patrick and Ann (Schmit) Fahey of Brownsville, MN celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple was married June 20, 1959 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon.

They have four children, Michael (Debra) of Stoddard, WI, Diane (Greg) Zeman of DeForest, WI, David (Linda) of DeForest, WI and Dan of Stoughton, WI. They have four grandchildren, Sean (Kasia) Fahey of Golden Valley, MN, Ryan (Sarah) Fahey of Minneapolis, MN, Colin (Natalie) Zeman of Green Bay, WI and Evan Zeman of Madison, WI, and one great-grandchild, Thalia Fahey, daughter of Sean and Kasia.

The couple celebrated their wedding anniversary with family during a dinner at the Radisson in La Crosse, WI held June 21 and a family cookout June 22. In honor of the occasion, cards may be sent to 8950 State 26, Brownsville, MN 55919.
 

Jay and Leslie Elsbernd of Decorah announce the birth of their son, Arthur Steven Elsbernd, born June 13, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 8 ozs. and measured 20-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins siblings, Claire (5), Marian (4) and Francis (1).

Grandparents are Steve and Patty Elsbernd of Ridgeway and Craig and Ellen Cutting of Decorah.
 

Lauryn Christianson and Logan Breitsprecher of Calmar announce the birth of their twin daughters, Maryse Lillian Breitsprecher and Joslyn Devin Breitsprecher, born June 13, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Maryse weighed 5 lbs. and measured 18-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. Joslyn weighed 5 lbs. 3 ozs. and measured 20-1/4 inches in length at the time of her birth. They join a brother, Greyson (2).

Grandparents are Bob and Carol Christianson of Waukon and Chad and Andrea Breitsprecher of Fort Atkinson. Great-grandparents are Hilmen Christianson of Waukon, Monika Moellers of Castalia and Marilyn Breitsprecher of Ossian.
 

Josh and Cori Hundt of Monona announce the birth of their son, Lennox Eli Hundt, born June 17, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 9 lbs. 12 ozs. and measured 21-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins brothers, Max (3) and Jamison (18 months).

Grandparents are Shane and Shamra Studt of Tallahassee, FL and George and Angie Killian of McGregor.
 

Denny and Chris Soride will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. In honor of the occasion, an open house will be held Sunday, June 30 from 1-3 p.m. at Tri-City Golf Club, 16739 Diplomat Road, Luana, IA 52156. The couple requests no gifts.
