Athlete of the Week

Due to his transfer to Waukon from La Crescent earlier this year, Ryan's stint with the Indian matmen only began in January, but he's an impact athlete for the squad already. The 135-pounder has posted twelve wins in just 17 bouts on the mat. More impressively, he's won eleven of those matches via fall and his twelfth victory was a convincing technical fall.
Ryan ended the regular season with a pair of wins Friday night against Postville and Valley, pinning his Pirate counterpart in 2:59 and needing only 13 seconds to finish off his Tiger opponent.
