Raymond Dolph Mulholland, 93, of New Albin died Friday, February 28, 2014 at Thornton Manor in Lansing. Funeral Services were held Saturday, March 8 at St. Peter’s Christian Community Church in New Albin. Burial followed at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Albin.
Ray was born March 27, 1920, the eighth of 11 children, to Leonard and Ariel (Inman) Mulholland in Lansing. He attended school in Lansing and graduated from Lansing High School in May of 1938. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corps in the fall of 1938.

Margery “Marge” J. Dehning, 75, of Waukon died Friday, March 7, 2014 at her home in Waukon. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 11 at St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Eitzen, MN, with Pastor Keith Selberg officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Margery Jean Dehning was born January 29, 1939 in Waukon, the daughter of Clarence Theodore and Helen Charlotte (Amondson) Flage. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon, and graduated from Waukon High School.

CTICM (Cryptologic Technician Interpretive Master Chief) Beverly C. Berryman, United States Navy, Retired, 68, of San Antonio, TX died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX after an unsuccessful fight against bone cancer.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, with Deacon Mike Ward officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon, where he will be interred with our dog, Coco, whose ashes he has kept for 15 years so she could be buried with him.

Visitation will be Friday, March 7 from 4-8 p.m. at the New Albin Community Center in New Albin and also one hour before services at the church Saturday, March 8. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at St. Peter’s Christian Community Church in New Albin. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Albin.

Lawrence “Larry” Allen Higdon, 71, of Dugger, IN passed away at 10 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, IN. Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. There will be no interment. Cremation is scheduled. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Donna Halverson, age 67, of Decorah died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at her home. A Celebration of Life and Memory was held Monday, March 3 at Decorah Lutheran Church, Decorah, with Rev. Dave Sorenson and Rev. Bryan Robertson officiating. Interment will be held later this Spring in Hauge Cemetery, Decorah.

Delores M. Dehning, 89, of Waukon, formerly of Dorchester, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5 at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Eitzen, MN, with Pastor Samantha Houser officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon.

Diantha Kaye (Buss) Junker, 62, of Mason City arrived home Saturday March 1, 2014, greeted by her Saviour, Jesus Christ and her precious daughter, Jennifer. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 4 at Faith Baptist Church in Mason City, with Rev. Miles Grismore and Pastor Dave Callison officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing in the Spring.

Clara A. L. (Duwe) Schroeder, 100, of Waukon, formerly of Postville, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Center, Waukon. Funeral Services were held Saturday, March 1 at St. John Lutheran Church, Waukon, with Rev. Lynn Groe officiating. Burial followed in the Postville Cemetery, Postville.
The daughter of Joseph and Eizabeth (Barries) Duwe. Clara was born August 8, 1913 on the family farm in Clayton County. She attended school through the tenth grade.

Todd Patrick Scott, 49, of Waterville died Saturday, February 22, 2014 near his home in Waterville. A Celebration of Life Gathering was held Friday, February 28 at the Spillway Supper Club in Harpers Ferry.
Todd was born March 14, 1964 to Calvin and Mary Ann (Redman) Scott in Prairie du Chien, WI. He went to high school at Valley High School in Elgin and spent two years in the U.S. Army.
